About BIM To Field

The BIM to Field initiative is founded by an alliance of leading organizations within the building construction industry that have come together to provide architects, engineers, contractors, sub-contractors, and building owners a comprehensive, trustworthy, and collaborative single-source for information regarding the notion of extending BIM data to the field.

What does BIM to Field really mean?

While the interpretation of the term can mean many things to many people, the alliance created the following working definition to help provide a point of reference.  That definition is as follows:  "To extend the detail rich, virtual design build data created in the office--down to field level systems for interpretation and precise delivery of these design elements in order to more efficiently and accurately meet the overall project needs."

My company has products and services that fulfill the BIM To Field definition. How can I become a member of the BIM To Field Alliance?

We are always looking to extend the knowledge of BIM To Field to the building construction community at large. If you feel your organization can help to extend that knowledge, then feel free to complete the form located here. We will review your information and get back to you with 2 business days.
